God or Gold?

And Jesus said to them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consists not in the abundance of the things which he possesses. - Luke 12:15

So many people do chase after After gold and miss out God. Not knowing that chasing God is better than chasing Gold.

The life of a man is not about what he owns or buy. We live in a materialistic world. We have to be careful because there is the danger of falling if we don't take heed.

Its good to have money, but money shouldn't define who or what you are.

We ain't called into Jesus-like life to show off. No! The purpose of our life is to showcase the glory of God.

Its not about us but about God. God want us to live a good life, no doubt. A good life is the life that draws people to Jesus. So ask Yourself, the prosperity you are enjoying, are you using it for God's glory or its just about you?

Perhaps, you haven't reached the financial level you wanted and you are seriously chasing after money.  Well, its good to make money but you priority should be to chase God.

Money won't solve everything for you in life. Materials can be gone tomorrow. What last forever is only of God and for God.

Its a beautiful Monday Morning. I pray that you will get it right in this life in your pursuit of happiness. Remember If you chase Gold, you miss God but if you chase God, you get Gold.

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. If Men Were God

He sends  rain  on the just and on the unjust. - Matthew 5:44 It's raining as I type this post and I remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:45 where he talks about  God sending the rain on both the just and unjust. God won't because are a sinner or a bad personal withdraw the rain from Falling on your side. One special trait we are to emulate from God is that we should not discriminate. If men were God, the rain will be raining only on the good, the sun will be shinning only on the perfect. We humans readily discriminate, we isolate those we feel are not perfect or good.
