Fear Not....

...Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. - 2 Kings 6:16

There is a very interesting passage in the Bible, 2 Kings 6:8-20. The King of Syria set out to captured Elijah. He sent out his armies to go surround Elijah's house. They got there quite all right but they couldn't captured Elijah. Elijah's servant was afraid of the armies and he cried out unto his master Elijah. Prophet Elijah knew He was a majority in the fight as he prayed to God to open his servant eyes and they saw that despite been surrounded by the armies of the Syria they were also surrounded by the heavenly armies who have come to deliver them.

He told his servant not to be afraid for they have more armies on their side than the Syria.

It was a difficult situation, his life was in danger but yet Elijah was calm enough to know he is safe. As long as you are on God's side, you shouldn't be afraid. Greater is He that is you than he that is in the world. You are a majority and a winning person when God is with you. Elijah saw the Syrian armies quite all night but he know better that God will certainly deliver and take care of him.

There will be battles to fight, challenges to face, situations to conquer. But in all this, we are rest assured that we are overcomer through Jesus. Though we may be surround by unpleasant circumstances, God will see us through. Our trust in Him shouldn't waver.

Fear Not because one with God is a majority. God is the only advantage your life needs to break through.

I decree and declare that you are a winner, you are an overcomer, you are a conqueror in Jesus Name.

Top of the Morning to you and do have a blessed Wednesday.

Verse 1 I want to  to live lord in the world of your Glory I want to live lord in the place where you are To stay away from the pressures & cares of this life. To stay away Lord from the ways of the world. (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to stay oh Lord in your resting place Lead me away from things that keep me from you Separate me from the things Lord that hinders me. (3*) Verse 2 Oh Lord my heart is longing for your precious presence To receive Lord the light of your countenance So I can escape the darkness that covers the Earth So I can escape Lord the path of error (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me

Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science. Many at times we believers are like that; We live in sin , we disobey God and when we need something, we want to perform miracles, do signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus which we really belittle or don't value.  Someone once said during a plane turbulence, he saw unbelievers even shouting the name of Jesus. No wonder some folks suffered embarrassment like the sons of Sceva.  When
