Preparation: Trait of the Wise

They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.- Matthew 25:3-4

The above verse is taken from the parable of the the ten virgins that went to meet the bridegroom (Matthew 25:1-12). Five has extra oil for their lamp while the other five didn't.

In the year 2018, it's imperative that you have an extra oil for your lamp. The wise virgins were those that prepared while by having an extra oil.

For you to achieve your goals in the year 2018, planning and effective preparation is essential. So many have already started the year without any extra oil. For someone, your own extra o might be an additional income, for some, it might be to start a course. For some it might be to start saving. Extra oil is what you need in case your lamp goes out before you achieve your goal (which is to meet the bridegroom).

You will be foolish to start the year without any preparation or whatsoever on what you need to achieve your set-goals. Many people fail because they start the year and leave their fate to luck or 'God' as they claim.

Your extra oil is what you will need in times of emergency. Your level of preparation will determine your level of achievement. The 5 wise virgins were able to meet with the groom because they had extra oil.

You never could tell when that training or seminar could come handy. You never could tell if that investment is going to be the biggest.   You must always be ready and prepared, that is what it means to have an extra oil.

Be wise, get your extra oil. When preparation meets opportunity, success is inevitable.

Good Morning and have a great day.

Our status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days.  My status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days  Better days are in You, Jesus... My better life is in You, Jesus... Life's changing is in You, Jesus... My success is in You, Jesus... All I have to do is to look to You... Better days are with You... My f...

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me...

If Men Were God

He sends  rain  on the just and on the unjust. - Matthew 5:44 It's raining as I type this post and I remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:45 where he talks about  God sending the rain on both the just and unjust. God won't because are a sinner or a bad personal withdraw the rain from Falling on your side. One special trait we are to emulate from God is that we should not discriminate. If men were God, the rain will be raining only on the good, the sun will be shinning only on the perfect. We humans readily discriminate, we isolate those we feel are not perfect or good. We see those who have sinned as been candidates of hell as if we haven't sinned before. One major problem of our society is discrimination. Even in church, we discriminate, we see that prostitute and we readily condemned her. We readily forget that as children of God, we don't just do good to good people, we are to do good to everybody. It doesn't matter how bad a person might be, you ...
