SoulMates: The Right Approach to Finding Your Partner

“A man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.” - Mark 10:7-9

Does God truly created just one person that you can marry or He did create like five persons from which you can choose from? At times, its laughable when you listen/read arguments that supports that We all have one special person created for us.

Eve was created out of Adam doesn’t literally mean God keeps on taking a man’s ribs to create wives for them. Aiit, Let say truly God created a partner for every human, what if one of the ‘supposed partner’ marry another person, will the other partner be single’? Or what about those who married more than one wives, are we to say they have married someone else wife? Lol…
Even the dictionary meaning of Soulmates is simply someone you are deeply close with. It is never meant to be someone you 'must' to marry.

So, the question should be what is God’s process as regards to choosing ones partner in marriage? Are we to choose from a pool of partners to marry from? Or there is that one special person we must marry and if we don’t marry such person, we have missed it?
I believe the concept of a soul mate is different from the question of whether there is one right person out there for each individual. To me, a soul mate is someone who shares one’s goals and belief system, someone with whom one forms a committed partnership, and ultimately, someone with whom one continues to develop and grow a relationship.
A relationship between soul mates is built on mutual respect, trust and, above all, a solid relationship with God. A soul mate does not come to you in a dream or vision, or even at first sight. Rather, a soul mate relationship is developed over time as one gets acquainted with their spouse and discovers who that person truly is.

So forget about this idea of a special one person that you can only marry. God has principles when it comes to marriage. Follow His principles and you will surely marry the right person and have a beautiful and a happy marriage.

God's principles for finding the right partner are all found in the Bible. As a man, prayerfully seek, as a lady, prayerful choose. First and foremost, let your relationship with God be right, then you can ask God to help you as regards to relationship. Your relationship with God is vital to your marital life. A Relationship/Marriage that is built on God's principles will always stand firm when the storms comes.

Trust God for your own ‘soulmate’ rather than finding a ‘sole mate’.

It's a beautiful morning folks, do enjoy the rest of the day.

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me...

The lyrics for the song goes thus: "We're connected to this world through our senses By what's tangible and easy to comprehend  There are days when it seems We're going nowhere fast Trust your faith to show you the truth Give a listen to what faith says to you:  "Our status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days. Our status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days.  My status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days  Better days are in You, Jesus... My better life is in You, Jesus... Life's changing is in You, Jesus... My success is in You, Jesus... All I have to do is to look to You... Better days are with You... My f...

If Men Were God

He sends  rain  on the just and on the unjust. - Matthew 5:44 It's raining as I type this post and I remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:45 where he talks about  God sending the rain on both the just and unjust. God won't because are a sinner or a bad personal withdraw the rain from Falling on your side. One special trait we are to emulate from God is that we should not discriminate. If men were God, the rain will be raining only on the good, the sun will be shinning only on the perfect. We humans readily discriminate, we isolate those we feel are not perfect or good. We see those who have sinned as been candidates of hell as if we haven't sinned before. One major problem of our society is discrimination. Even in church, we discriminate, we see that prostitute and we readily condemned her. We readily forget that as children of God, we don't just do good to good people, we are to do good to everybody. It doesn't matter how bad a person might be, you ...
