Day 23

For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
Proverbs 23:7 KJV

We are a product of our thinking, we are what we think. Don't think because someone called you to come and eat, he / she meant that. Do not think because someone is laughing with you, he / she is happy with you.

Selfishness starts from the mind. A selfish man might profess to be a kind man but truth is he has no sincere kindness to you, but inwardly grudges you over  that which he outwardly offers to you.

Dont just judge solely on outward appreance or attitude. Beware of deceitful men, whose courtesies even you will repent of having accepted.

The heart of man can only be known by God. Even a killer could offer his victim a cup of water.

This verse is a call to us all to be careful and discernful about people especially those who seem to be hospitable to us.

Not all kind people fake it but you ain't never could tell which one us genuine or not. This is why Wisdom is required in all things.

You do not know a man until you know his thoughts. God knows him perfectly, because He knows his thoughts.

MAIN POINT: You cannot know a man merely by listening to his words or watching his actions. There is always more, and often better, in men than comes into expression

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. If Men Were God

He sends  rain  on the just and on the unjust. - Matthew 5:44 It's raining as I type this post and I remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:45 where he talks about  God sending the rain on both the just and unjust. God won't because are a sinner or a bad personal withdraw the rain from Falling on your side. One special trait we are to emulate from God is that we should not discriminate. If men were God, the rain will be raining only on the good, the sun will be shinning only on the perfect. We humans readily discriminate, we isolate those we feel are not perfect or good. We see those who have sinned as been candidates of hell as if we haven't sinned before. One major problem of our society is discrimination.
