The Proverb Challenge: Day 4

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
- Proverbs 4:7 KJV

Wealth, power, ease, pleasure, intellectual greatness are thought by different persons to be the principal thing. God says, “Wisdom is the principal thing.”

Many years ago, I had always place wealth above Wisdom. I was so wrong then.
From the first Chapter, The writer of Poverbs has been emphasising on getting Wisdom, I the fourth chapter, it say why: Wisdom is a major thing, Wisdom is the most important asset you can get. In our priority scale, Wisdom should always come first.

Why is this wisdom called the principal thing? That is the principal thing which is the only abiding thing. True wisdom, like its source, is perennial, unchanging, everlasting. And it is the only satisfying thing. It comes from God; it leads to God. It comes from above; it leads to above.  Solomon was successful as a King because he chooses Wisdom first among many other things.

A successful life is a life that starts with Wisdom. The difference between a wise man and a foolish man is that a wise man starts with Wisdom, a foolish man doesn't. Wisdom is never minor, always major.

Wisdom is or utmost importance, Wisdom is supreme, Wisdom is the number one thing. And the beginning of Wisdom is to get it.

Main Point: A Wise man is the man who get Wisdom first among other things.

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. If Men Were God

He sends  rain  on the just and on the unjust. - Matthew 5:44 It's raining as I type this post and I remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:45 where he talks about  God sending the rain on both the just and unjust. God won't because are a sinner or a bad personal withdraw the rain from Falling on your side. One special trait we are to emulate from God is that we should not discriminate. If men were God, the rain will be raining only on the good, the sun will be shinning only on the perfect. We humans readily discriminate, we isolate those we feel are not perfect or good.
