The Proverb Challenge: Day 24

The Proverb Challenge
Day 24

Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:
Proverbs 24:3‭ KJV

Cultivating wisdom is one of the most important things we can do to increase our “personal capital.” Wisdom is an amazing multi-tool that helps us in so many realms and with so many particular decisions.

House in this verse could mean a lot of things,  in Today's  Thriving Words, we will discussing Family.

So I am going to rephrase the verse "Through wisdom is a family builded; and by understanding it is established"

Making a family is not just about getting married, make love and have babies, etc... there's so much responsibilities involved within that. this is obvious to those who are already parents and they can surely affirm what i've said, for my statement is true. to the ones that are looking forward to a family life, prepare yourself for a WONDERFUL adventure. this is not a scary chapter, it's just the most wonderful and exciting page to turn to.

Responsibility, finance, timing, Tiring, hectic, troublesome, routine, feeding, nappy changing, sleepless nights, happiness, baby laughs, baby buggie walks, ooh and there's so much more excitements. All these thing have to be considered. This is like counting the cost before starting to build. But if one looks at the clouds, he will never sow. So, know your limits, don't get to any extreme whereas you start counting costs all the time and stop enjoying your God-given life. Taking risks is part of life and at the same time, being wise is wise!!

Be wise with your time - it's precious, don't waste it. "time wasted is failure tasted". The wise timer gains a heart of wisdom. If you manage you time wisely, you will have plenty to give, to have and to spare!!

To raise a family is like building a house, in fact a family is like a house. Wisdom is required to successfully start and raise a family. You may not realize it –but you are in the construction business. You are building and constructing your home and the lives of your children whether you realize it or not. The question is how are you constructing them!?

The best way to construct or build your family is through the Word of God. The Word is a sure foundation that can withstand any storm.

The Word of God is the Wisdom required to build your family.

MAIN POINT: It takes Wisdom to build a Family

Verse 1 I want to  to live lord in the world of your Glory I want to live lord in the place where you are To stay away from the pressures & cares of this life. To stay away Lord from the ways of the world. (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to stay oh Lord in your resting place Lead me away from things that keep me from you Separate me from the things Lord that hinders me. (3*) Verse 2 Oh Lord my heart is longing for your precious presence To receive Lord the light of your countenance So I can escape the darkness that covers the Earth So I can escape Lord the path of error (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me

Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science. Many at times we believers are like that; We live in sin , we disobey God and when we need something, we want to perform miracles, do signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus which we really belittle or don't value.  Someone once said during a plane turbulence, he saw unbelievers even shouting the name of Jesus. No wonder some folks suffered embarrassment like the sons of Sceva.  When
