Forgive and Be Forgiven

14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
- Matthew 6:14-15

One constant thing I have notice in life is this: you are bound to be offended by people. No matter how careful you are, someone definitely will offend you. Jesus knew this which is why he told Peter, we are to forgive Four hundred and ninety times (Matthew 18:21-22).

Forgiveness is not a sign that you are weak. Forgiveness is a sign that you wouln't stoop so low not to forgive. When we don't forgive, we become bitter which is even more dangerous. Jesus Pointed out one major reason why we should forgive. If you do not forgive one another, God wouldn't forgive you. It's as simple as that. God is faithful and just to forgive us. We should also emulate that and forgive those that hurt us.

So this morning, look back, the past days, past weeks, past months, past years, is there anyone you are still angry at, someone you are still bitter at. Yea, what the person did to you might be very bad. Nevertheless you have got to let go of the bitterness toward them. You can't receive God's forgiveness if you can't forgive others. Everyone has the capacity to forgive no matter how painful you've been hurt.

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. If Men Were God

He sends  rain  on the just and on the unjust. - Matthew 5:44 It's raining as I type this post and I remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:45 where he talks about  God sending the rain on both the just and unjust. God won't because are a sinner or a bad personal withdraw the rain from Falling on your side. One special trait we are to emulate from God is that we should not discriminate. If men were God, the rain will be raining only on the good, the sun will be shinning only on the perfect. We humans readily discriminate, we isolate those we feel are not perfect or good.
