The Right Thing to Do

You shall do what is right and good in the sight of the LORD, that it may be well with you and that you may go in and possess the good land which the LORD swore to give your fathers.
- Deuteronomy 6:18

One of the major things that is been eroded in this modern age is our Moral decency. The devil has succeed in popularizing immorality to the extent that it is abnormal to be morally upright. The right thing is viewed with disdain. One can't but wonder what and where we went wrong. Because something is popular doesn't mean it's right; because it has been existing for long doesn't make it right; because it sound cool doesn't mean it's the right thing to do. What is right has no substitute. What is right is right. Because the majority or even the laws of the land approves it doesn't make it right. Homosexuality, adultery, indecent dressing, abusive words, evil cultism  is on the increase and the society is gradually  accepting it.

There is a dating website in Europe that matches people that want to cheat on their spouses. There is also some websites for swingers. All this are wrong activities that people have come to accept as way of life. People tends to follow the current trend, the latest happenings.

Our societal Moral compass has been corrupted. When you don't stand for the right things, you will definitely fall for the wrong things.

Don't be ashamed to be a minority because of your right standing. What matter most is not what the world says (though it matter but very little) but what God says. You must abhor anything God abhor.

What is wrong will always be wrong no matter how many people that does it or for how long it has been in existence.

Wrong is wrong and Right is Right. I pray God will deliver you from every wrongs in life and lead you to the Right things.

Good Morning and a Happy Tuesday to You.

Music: I Want to Live (Download)

I have another favourite song from the stable of Dunamis Ministry led by Pastor Paul Eneche.  The song is titled I want to live where you are. The song blesses me so much and I am sure you will be blessed by it. Below is the song lyrics and also a link where you can download the song. Verse 1 I want to  to live lord in the world of your Glory I want to live lord in the place where you are To stay away from the pressures & cares of this life. To stay away Lord from the ways of the world. (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to stay oh Lord in your resting place Lead me away from things that keep me from you Separate me from the things Lord that hinders me. (3*) Verse 2 Oh Lord my heart is longing for your precious presence To receive Lord the light of your countenance So I can escape the darkness that covers the Earth So I can escape Lord the path of error (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to sta

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me

Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science. Many at times we believers are like that; We live in sin , we disobey God and when we need something, we want to perform miracles, do signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus which we really belittle or don't value.  Someone once said during a plane turbulence, he saw unbelievers even shouting the name of Jesus. No wonder some folks suffered embarrassment like the sons of Sceva.  When
