Stand Out...

But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
- Genesis 6:8

The first place where Grace was mentioned was in the story of Noah. There was so much wickedness on earth and God has decided to destroy all but Noah was exempted because he found grace in the eyes of the Lord. He (Noah) stand out, Genesis 6:9 says "These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God."

Noah found grace because he stand out from the wickedness of the people. You can only experience the grace of the Lord when you decide to stand out for Jesus.

The world is full of evil. But they that stand out from this evil world (i.e wouldn't join them to commit evil) will experience the Grace of God. Psalm 1:1 says "Blessed is the man that walk not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of the scornful."

A blessed man is he that has found Grace in the eyes of the Lord. Grace is available to everyone who has decided not to follow the ways of the world.

If you want to escape the calamity of this year, you need the grace of God and you can only found grace when you stand out from the world unto Jesus.

Good Morning to you. I pray that as you made up your mind to stand out, you will find Grace in the eyes of the Lord.

Do have a wonderful day...

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me

Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science. Many at times we believers are like that; We live in sin , we disobey God and when we need something, we want to perform miracles, do signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus which we really belittle or don't value.  Someone once said during a plane turbulence, he saw unbelievers even shouting the name of Jesus. No wonder some folks suffered embarrassment like the sons of Sceva.  When
