Obedience: Key To Your Miracles

Mary said to the servants, Whatsoever he said unto you, do it. - John 2:5

Jesus was invited to a wedding in Cana, unfortunately they ran out of wine and Mary was wise enough to ask Jesus to help out. She told the servants a very important advice; whatsoever Jesus ask them to do, they should do it.

Mary recognize the awesome power of Jesus and having been a recipient of it before, she knew nothing is impossible before Jesus as He is God in human form. So she knew very well that obedience is the key to getting a miracle.

Naaman the leper was cleanse because he obey (2 Kings 5:1-14). To obey is better than sacrifice. Disobedience will only rob us of our breakthrough, our miracles, our blessings.

What is it that God is asking you to do? You got to trust Him. The servants did ALL that Jesus asked them to do. Though it may sound foolish, anything God tells you to do, Do it!

Saul was partially obedient and he was yanked out of the throne (1 Samuel 15:1-26).  Partial Obedience is no Obedience. The first man, Adam,  felled because he disobeyed.

All you need do to having your miracles is to Obey. The celebrants at Cana was saved from been disgraced as a result of obedience.

Disobedience is the route to shame, failure and reproach.

What has God said in His Word? Are you doing it or not? You can never have a full-version miracles without a full-version obedience.

It's another lovely Morning. I hope Thriving Words have been of blessings to you daily.
Remember Obedience is the key to Miracles.

Good Morning and have a wonderful Thursday.

To stay away Lord from the ways of the world. (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to stay oh Lord in your resting place Lead me away from things that keep me from you Separate me from the things Lord that hinders me. (3*) Verse 2 Oh Lord my heart is longing for your precious presence To receive Lord the light of your countenance So I can escape the darkness that covers the Earth So I can escape Lord the path of error (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me

Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science. Many at times we believers are like that; We live in sin , we disobey God and when we need something, we want to perform miracles, do signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus which we really belittle or don't value.  Someone once said during a plane turbulence, he saw unbelievers even shouting the name of Jesus. No wonder some folks suffered embarrassment like the sons of Sceva.  When
