I and My Household...

But if you refuse to serve the LORD, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the LORD.
- Joshua 24:15

Another lesson to learn from Joshua is that he truly leads his household well as he has proclaimed that all his household are going to serve the Lord.

If your husband, wife, children, maids and their members of your household aren't saved, you have got a lot to do.  Joshua has raised his household to serving the Lord. As a Father and husband, are you pastoring your family well, as a wife and mother, are you showing the rest of the household the right way to go? As a son/daughter, Do you witness Jesus to your unsaved parents? Your domestic helps, how many have you won to God?

For Joshua, his ability to lead the people in the way of the Lord was already obvious. Eli the high priest died simply because he couldn't put his household together to serve the Lord.

When you still have unsaved members in your family, you got evangelize to them the more. Ensure all your household know Jesus. Do your best to bring Every members of your family to God.

Nothing is sweeter than having a Christian family that is serving God. Family is the smallest unit of the society. You want to win souls for God. Start with your spouse, kids, siblings, other members of your family. Solomon backslide because of his unsaved wives who lured him to their gods.

My Advice: tell every member of your family consistently about Jesus till they are saved. Save a family, save a nation.

Can you proudly say that you and your household are for Jesus?

It's another day, another opportunity, why don't you tell that unsaved member of your family about Jesus?

It is your duty to ensure your family knows Jesus.

Good Morning to you and do have a beautiful day.

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me...

Song: These Walls

You are good and do good;....  - Psalm 119:68  Few months back, I came across an inspiring song by Jason David who happens to be a pastor.  He was diagnosed with cancer. After a year-long fight with cancer that claimed much of his tongue, Pastor Jason David refuses to stop singing. "These Walls" is an original worship song he wrote that became his anthem as he fought through several surgeries, chemotherapy & radiation. For someone going through challenges; financial, health, marital, academic, whatever it may be, I pray this song will bless you - no matter what walls or mountains you may face, God is greater & God is good!  Below are the lyrics of the song: Verse: You are greater than these walls I'm circling  You are stronger than these army  I see You are bigger than these mountains that I faced And I will choose only to praise You. Pre - Chorus  This is my song, these is my dare To worship you even as thes...
