Is Jesus in your Boat?

36. And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him (Jesus) even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.
37. And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.
   - Mark 4:36-37

One question that comes to my mind about the above verses is this: Jesus was in the Boat when the storm came, one couldn't but ask why would a storm happen to a boat that Jesus was in?

This is the mighty Son of God, God in human form, yet a storm could still attack His ride.

The lesson here is this: because you are a child of God doesn't mean there won't be storms; because you are a child of God doesn't mean it will be bed of roses.

So what difference does it makes being A child of God? You may ask: the difference is; the storm won't sink you, instead you will emerge stronger and better. Through it all, you will finally reign forever with the King in a place where there won't be any storm again.

We go through all kind of challenges in life and yet we are still standing because Jesus is always ever present in our ride. So when the ride is stormy, be still and know you will emerge stronger. Our affliction is but for a little time.

Year 2017 might have started on a stormy note for you, be rest assured it will end on a victorious and peaceful way for you. Don't fret because Jesus is in your boat and if He is not in our boat, I'm afraid that is too dangerous. Call on Jesus and ask Him to come to your boat so that you can be rest assured.

TGIF! Today is a blessed day for you.

Good Morning and have a good day.

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me...

Music: I Want to Live (Download)

I have another favourite song from the stable of Dunamis Ministry led by Pastor Paul Eneche.  The song is titled I want to live where you are. The song blesses me so much and I am sure you will be blessed by it. Below is the song lyrics and also a link where you can download the song. Verse 1 I want to  to live lord in the world of your Glory I want to live lord in the place where you are To stay away from the pressures & cares of this life. To stay away Lord from the ways of the world. (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to stay oh Lord in your resting place Lead me away from things that keep me from you Separate me from the things Lord that hinders me. (3*) Verse 2 Oh Lord my heart is longing for your precious presence To receive Lord the light of your countenance So I can escape the darkness that covers the Earth So I can escape Lord the path of error (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I wa...

Unlimited Thanksgiving

"Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus." - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Our thanksgiving should be unlimited. Even If we have thousands tongue to thank God with, it can never be enough. Looking all around you, you will always find a reason to thank God. This year might be so challenging for you, things might not have gone smoothly as you expected, nevertheless you have got to thank God. We do not thank God FOR difficult situation but we thank God IN difficult situation. Don't just be that person that only does thanksgiving when things are going on fine. Don't be that person that thank God seasonally. Don't be that person that thank God only when they have a 'big' testimony to share. Don't be that person that just thank God just because the preacher asked them to. God has been so good from ages past. No one else deserves our appreciation more than Him. You will be...
