Thanksgiving: In All Circumstances

#Thanksgiving Day 29

“He who sacrifices thank offerings honors me, and he prepares the way so that I may show him the salvation of God.” Psalm 50:23

Has year 2018 been good to you? Are you grateful for this year?  

Truth is we all may not be where we want to be but we are not where we used to be. For that, we should be thankful and grateful to God. 

We complain so much the we lose sight of the good things God has done for us. The devil will always give you one thousand and one reason why God is bad but you should know there are millions of reasons for us to know that God is good.

This year has been eventful, challenging, rewarding. For it all, glory be to God. Our thanksgiving must not always be a measure of how easy and fantastic or journey in life have been.

Despite the seeming unanswered prayers, be grateful

Despites the difficulties faced, be thankful

No what matter, good or bad, we should always be grateful to God. Gratitude is an attitude that will increase our altitude in life.

It’s the Twenty Ninth day of the thanks-filled month of December. Thank God for virtually everything that comes your mind today. Spontaneously give a Him thanks

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. If Men Were God

He sends  rain  on the just and on the unjust. - Matthew 5:44 It's raining as I type this post and I remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:45 where he talks about  God sending the rain on both the just and unjust. God won't because are a sinner or a bad personal withdraw the rain from Falling on your side. One special trait we are to emulate from God is that we should not discriminate. If men were God, the rain will be raining only on the good, the sun will be shinning only on the perfect. We humans readily discriminate, we isolate those we feel are not perfect or good.
