Reasons For Thanksgiving:

Among many others, another reason for which we can express our thanks is The Blessings of the Lord.

The poorest of us have some good things--some health, some friends, some food, some clothing, some sunshine. We need to emphasize these blessings more. With the blessing of God we can be rich even when we are poor, for "the blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich." (Proverbs 10:22).

Too many times we have taken the blessings of the Lord for granted. We hardly say thank you to those daily blessings we received from Him. The fact you can go the restroom and ease yourself is a blessing. All those little things we take for granted, we should be grateful for them. If you think it was your alarm clock that woke you up today, try putting it  next to a dead man. 

Some people act as if they had nothing to be thankful for!
A lack of thankfulness is a lack of thoughtfulness.
Ingratitude is probably the less attractive attitude anyone could possess.

Before you go about your daily activities, Thank Him for yesterday blessings, thank Him for today blessings and thank Him for tomorrow blessings as well. 

It’s not as if we deserve the blessings just like that but because of His grace and mercy, we are blessed. That is enough reason to thank Him.

It’s the Nineteenth Day of December, our thanks-filled month. This is a thanksgiving season. Start your day by thanking God for His blessings over you.

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. If Men Were God

He sends  rain  on the just and on the unjust. - Matthew 5:44 It's raining as I type this post and I remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:45 where he talks about  God sending the rain on both the just and unjust. God won't because are a sinner or a bad personal withdraw the rain from Falling on your side. One special trait we are to emulate from God is that we should not discriminate. If men were God, the rain will be raining only on the good, the sun will be shinning only on the perfect. We humans readily discriminate, we isolate those we feel are not perfect or good.
