#Thanksgiving Day 27
Some have food but can not eat, some can eat but have no food. I have food and I can eat. Glory be to You oh Lord.
The above words were what I grow up saying in school when it’s time to eat our lunch. We tend to take certain things for granted perhaps because we felt it’s our right or it’s something within our means and power.
Throughout this year 2018 so far, I eat what I want to eat. That food that we find and eat easily, do you know people still died for malnourishment and hunger. There are folks that still go to bed hungry.
The fact that you have food to eat indicate that you have a reason to thank God for.
Countries all over the world experience food shortages, famine and crops lose but despite it all, God provides for you and your household.
It is gloriously appropriate to give thanks and praise to God from whom all blessings flow. And to have food to eat is a merciful blessing.
It is good to receive the blessing of God’s provision with thanksgiving.
It’s the Twenty Seventh Day of the thanksgiving month of December. Why don’t you take a moment before you eat today and thank God for all the food He has provided for you this year.
Be blessed 🙏
