#Thanksgiving Day 25
Thank God for His Son - His gift too wonderful for words” (TLB) - 2 Corinthians 9:15
Today is a day where majority of Christians celebrate the birth of the Saviour, Jesus.
Imagine Jesus Christ wasn’t born into this world; that He didn’t come. What do you think would have happen? We won’t be celebrating Christmas, instead, we would just be making sacrifices (burnt offering).
One of the reason for this Thanksgiving Season is Jesus. We celebrate because He came into this world and came to save us from destruction.
We should give thanks to God for sending His Only Begotten Son, Jesus. Christmas is a time of thanksgiving.
The birth of the Saviour brought hope into this world. Let’s be grateful unto God for Christmas. Christmas Day is a hope day: Christmas Day is a thanksgiving day: Christmas Day is a celebration day. Rejoice and thank God that the Saviour of Mankind was born.
It’s the Twenty-Fifth Day of December, our thanksgiving month: Whatever you do on Christmas, make giving thanks a part of your celebration.
