Thanksgiving: A Way of Life

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. 
- 1 Chronicles 16:34.

Thanksgiving is a time for us to reflect and give thanks for all that God has blessed us with
It gives us the perfect opportunity to transform our lives from those of griping and dissatisfaction to lives of joy and gratitude.

Thanksgiving shouldn’t be something we are forced or cajoled to do. Thanksgiving should be our way of life.

A thankful person will receive more goodies. There is a saying in the Yorubaland that ‘a person that is thankful for the things of yesterday will surely receive another one’.

A Christian must have the thanksgiving culture. When we  try value the goodness of God over our lives, we found out that we are not even close to thanking Him enough.

Thanksgiving should be everyday thing. Thanksgiving shouldn’t be something we always wait till our clergyman ask us if o do it our worship centers.

Part of being a Christian is living a thankful life. One of the main discriminators that sets us apart from the world should be living a life of thanksgiving.

God wants us to be people if thanksgiving and gratitude.

It’s the third day of The thanks-filled December. Be happy, rejoice and give thanks to God.

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. If Men Were God

He sends  rain  on the just and on the unjust. - Matthew 5:44 It's raining as I type this post and I remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:45 where he talks about  God sending the rain on both the just and unjust. God won't because are a sinner or a bad personal withdraw the rain from Falling on your side. One special trait we are to emulate from God is that we should not discriminate. If men were God, the rain will be raining only on the good, the sun will be shinning only on the perfect. We humans readily discriminate, we isolate those we feel are not perfect or good.
