Yesterday was full of good news as there are reports of countries that are starting to flattening the curve as regards this pandemic outbreak.
One important thing we should have learnt during this lockdown is this: good news matters a lot. The past few weeks has been gloomy, bad news everywhere, businesses closed down, money not coming in, people in dire needs, hospitals been overwhelming, victims dying daily, fear and panic has taken over. In all this, you could do with a good news.
Good news is like a medicine to the heart, it's the opposite of sorrow. Of a truth, so many bad things are happening but we must make conscious effort to see the good in every situation. We should stop been permisitic, we must be hopeful and always desire good things.
Get away from the news coverage, they are mostly filled with bad news because bad news sells fast. Intentional seek out good news. No matter how small the ray of hope might be, seek it out.
Things might be bad now but we must know it is coming to an end and there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Dead rates are dropping in Spain and Italy, South Korea and China seem to have turn the tide.
While some countries are still battling, there is stil hope as victims are responding to treatment, in Nigeria, though cases have been on the rise (but largely lower than expected rates), recoveries rates are highly encouraging and severe cases are rare. African countries in general are beating expectation by the prophets of doom.
Both the old and young are even recovering in Italy. Iran's death rate is slowing down.
What you filled your mind with will determine and form your perspective in life. When there is life, there is hope and when there is a will, there is a way. Good news indirectly boost your immune system. Nothing kills slowly like a bad news which causes depression, worries and fear.
Today is a good day as more recoveries are on the rise, death rates keep dropping and the spread is been halted. Official rates round the world keep showing that the virus is becoming less and less deadly.
Remember to keep washing your hand regularly, avoid large gathering as much as possible. Wear your necessary PPEs if you are an essential worker.
In all this, I'm happy to tell you we are already overcoming this plague. More good news are coming. Always seek out the good news.
Stay Calm! Stay Hopeful!! Stay Safe!!!
