Lockdown Day 4: Lessons to be Learnt Part 2

Good day everyone. Trust our day is starting out well.

Today is the Day 4 of the 14-Day Lockdown. I believe we all are getting through. I will continue on the Lessons we all need to learn from this lockdown.

Yesterday, I mention planning as the first lesson to learn. When we plan well, we wouldn't always be taken by surprise.

The second lesson to learn is what our priorities are in life. During this lockdown, one major thing you will notice is that those things you actually take more important ain't that important than what you take less important. We need to review what our priorities are. During this period, you will discover that somethings are actually important than money. Good health, family, relationship are really important.

Most workaholic will realize how empty their lives is at the moment simply because they have neglect other things and are just so focused on work and work alone. They have done this at the expense of other important things in their life.

You also found out those things you thought you couldn't do without, you could actually do without them. This is where the economic term 'opportunity cost' comes in. Simply put, the opportunity cost is what you must forgo in order to get something. More like delay gratification.

During this lockdown, review your priorities. Everything can't be important. You have to let go of somethings, some relationships so that you can focus on what's important to you.

Our fulfilment in life are tied to our priorities. During this lockdown, you should realize those  that matters to you, what you should stop/start doing.

Tomorrow, I continue on this. Don't forget to keep the social distance and regularly keep yourself safe.

 Do have a great day!

Music: I Want to Live (Download)

I have another favourite song from the stable of Dunamis Ministry led by Pastor Paul Eneche.  The song is titled I want to live where you are. The song blesses me so much and I am sure you will be blessed by it. Below is the song lyrics and also a link where you can download the song. Verse 1 I want to  to live lord in the world of your Glory I want to live lord in the place where you are To stay away from the pressures & cares of this life. To stay away Lord from the ways of the world. (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to stay oh Lord in your resting place Lead me away from things that keep me from you Separate me from the things Lord that hinders me. (3*) Verse 2 Oh Lord my heart is longing for your precious presence To receive Lord the light of your countenance So I can escape the darkness that covers the Earth So I can escape Lord the path of error (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to sta

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me

Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science. Many at times we believers are like that; We live in sin , we disobey God and when we need something, we want to perform miracles, do signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus which we really belittle or don't value.  Someone once said during a plane turbulence, he saw unbelievers even shouting the name of Jesus. No wonder some folks suffered embarrassment like the sons of Sceva.  When
