Lockdown Day 2: Setting Your Mind Free....

Good day to you. I trust you are doing great. The world is in a perilous time as Covid-19 pandemic is ravaging the world. Everything will be fine, do not panic.

Yesterday I started discussing what the greatest lockdown is; it is the lockdown of the mind. Mental lockdown is really really not good for anyone.

So, how do we break free from this mental lockdown. Out physical movement might be restricted but that doesn't mean our mental faculty should als be restricted.

We set our minds free from lockdown or prison by feeding it with the right information. Yes, feeding it. Your mind is very important which is why you must not just feed it but feed it with the right information. It is one thing to eat food, it is another thing to eat good food

To be wrongly informed could make our mind deformed. What you see, read, hear goes into your mind which in turn form who you are.

Everything you do or say is first conceived in the mind, even when it looks spontaneous to you , it has always been in the mind. You can't give what you don't have.

The tech guys will say 'garbage in, garbage out'. What you feed your mind with determine what will come out of you. Setting our mind s free from every form of shackles means we have to get the right info.

When you don't feed your mind with informational activity, you are caging it or locking it down gradually.

Also, you have to implement or put to good use those right information. The Africa continent hasn't develope at the rate of the other continents simply because it lack implementation. Africa doesn't lack information, what it lack is implementation.

Implementing what you have learnt require discipline, focus and Zeal.

So you set your mind free from lockdown by feeding it with the right information and utilizing that information by putting it to good use (implementation).

You might be in an isolation, quarantine or locked down but your mind shouldn't be.

Till I come your way again, do have a productive day and stay safe.

Music: I Want to Live (Download)

I have another favourite song from the stable of Dunamis Ministry led by Pastor Paul Eneche.  The song is titled I want to live where you are. The song blesses me so much and I am sure you will be blessed by it. Below is the song lyrics and also a link where you can download the song. Verse 1 I want to  to live lord in the world of your Glory I want to live lord in the place where you are To stay away from the pressures & cares of this life. To stay away Lord from the ways of the world. (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to stay oh Lord in your resting place Lead me away from things that keep me from you Separate me from the things Lord that hinders me. (3*) Verse 2 Oh Lord my heart is longing for your precious presence To receive Lord the light of your countenance So I can escape the darkness that covers the Earth So I can escape Lord the path of error (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to sta

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me

Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science. Many at times we believers are like that; We live in sin , we disobey God and when we need something, we want to perform miracles, do signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus which we really belittle or don't value.  Someone once said during a plane turbulence, he saw unbelievers even shouting the name of Jesus. No wonder some folks suffered embarrassment like the sons of Sceva.  When
