One major question on the lips of some Christians is can God still bless someone this lockdown? can God still perform miracles this lockdown? All my prayer points, can they still get answered during this lockdown?
The answer is Yes! Yes!! Yes!!! . The blessings of the Lord is not subject to any physical lockdown.. We look at our bible text Genesis 41, in verse 54, the whole earth was in a kind of lockdown we called famine, hunger ravage the whole earth but something interesting happened, despite the famine on earth, the Land of Egypt had bread.
Is Egypt not part of the earth? Yes it is. So why do they have bread despite the earth being on Lockdown? It's because the wisdom of God had showed unto Joseph the route of escape from the famine or lockdown.
God is the same yesterday, today and forever more. He is not a man that would change, he is the unchangeable changer. What He did in Egypt, He can still do it for you. The lockdown is biting hard on people, it's not because God is wicked but because people have not learnt about God way of preservation. You can profit in the midst of loss. Egypt had bread in the midst of scarcity.
Remember when Jesus fed thousands of people with just 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes. You wonder how that was possible, it's simply God's way of preservation.
The earth is of the Lord and the fullness thereof. No matter what happen on earth, yours can always be good things.
After this current Covid-19 pandemic, there would be a lot of economic losses. People will lose their jobs, hunger will take over but do you know in the midst of it all, God can promote you, He can give you bread even when there is famine in the land.
Greater is He in us than anything and everything in this world. As a child of God, you shouldn't be held bound and down by the problems in this world.
Things may be bad and tough in the world, but it will never be bad and tough for you. People are losing their jobs and business but you will be prosper and increase.
God always preserve His own children wh are obedient to Him. There might be lockdown but you might not be locked out.
God preserved Egypt because they obeyed His instructions through the dream Joseph interpreted. Obedience to God's instruction is the key to His preservation. He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. If you refuse dwell in the secret place (obedience), you can not be preserve. Abiding under the shadow of the Almighty is preservation.
So what is God telling you, what is He instructing you to do. God will always give a word for every season. If you don't know it, it means you are either far away from God or you are been distracted even though you are close. Before this plaque comes, God had drop the word but so man believers are distracted or far from God.
To know what God is saying is to stay close to Him though His word (you get to know about God through His word) and prayer (communicating with Him). Reading the Bible prayerful, you will always know what God is saying. You will get the instructions and when you obey it, you will be preserved.
I pray that the antenna of your spiritual life be open to receiving the instructions God is giving you in this season. May you be preserved. You will Thrive in the midst of adversity. It is well with you. You will never be locked out of God's blessings and preservation.
