Back To School Tips

Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
   - Psalm 127:3-4

Here comes the time and the season that children go back to school (or start school for the freshers), some have resumed, others about to.

To every dad, mom, guardian, sister, brother, uncle, aunty, here are back-to-school tips for you to help your child/ward/brother/sister succeed in the new school year.:

• Be Physically involved in your child's learning: Meet your Child's teacher. Attend PTA's meeting. Review your child's assignment from school

• Encourage your Child to Set Achievable Goals: encourage your child to obey school rules. Encourage your child to be respectful and courteous. Encourage your child to be kind and friendly.

• Be positive to your child in words and deeds. Stop comparing your child with other children. Every child is unique. Spend quality time with your child. Pray for your child and pray with your child.

• Ensure your child eats healthy. Ensure your child balance play and study. Ensure your child manage screen time (too much of Tv watching is not good for your child). Ensure your child get enough sleep.

• Practically teach your child safety tips. Kidnappers, ritualistic, child predator are on the prowl, teach your child to be sensitive to their environment and encourage them to report any slightest abnormal activities or conduct to you.

Let your child be able to trust you enough to talk to you.

I pray for you that the children the Lord has given to you, the evil one will not snatch them away from you in Jesus Name.

Good morning and do have a great Tuesday.

Kindly share tot everyone with a kid(s) going to school.

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me...
