...for we live by faith, not by sight.
- 2 Corinthians 5:7
Sometimes, as a believer looking around you, you don't really like where you are. You have study God words well enough and yet, the reality seems to be delaying, all what you see physically is the opposite of what you have been praying and reading about.
Truth be told, physically speaking, when we look at our lives and where we are, we would grow weary and feel like giving up. But we don't live by what we see. What you see is not the future but the present. Your sight will only see the present state. We walk and live by faith. Faith shows you what the sight won't show you. Faith is the evidence of things not seen. Faith shows you the future.
Even when the present is not too okay, faith shows you it will be okay because the Word of God says so. Our physical eyes can't not comprehend the promises of God for our lives. Faith is what we need to access that realm.
Your sight sees the things that are bad now, your faith sees the bad things that became alright.
To walk by faith, is to live in the confident expectation of things that are to come; in the belief of the existence of unseen realities; and suffering them to influence us as if they were seen. The people of this world are influenced by the things that are seen. Sight is the reason why unbelievers can't comprehend what it means to make heaven. Sight is the reason why unbelievers can't fathom the joy that you feel when going to church. Faith is greater than sight. Sight limit you to the box of the Now.
A Christian is to walk and live by faith. We go to church on Sundays to serve a God we haven't seen physically, why? It's because we have faith in Him and by that Faith we worship Him and He has made Himself know to us through faith. A man that doesn't live by faith will live a sad life.
It's a happy Sunday Morning. Good Morning and stay blessed! 😊
