Jesus is Our Comforter

And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?
- John 11:37

Lazarus, a friend of Jesus died and it baffles the people around him because they believe since Jesus does so many miracles, can't he have stopped Lazarus from dying.

So many believers faces the same situation. People mock you for going to church or serving God with all your earth yet you have a reproach in one way or the other. They laugh at you for serving God so diligently yet you are not that rich. Atheists are quick to laugh at believers when they lost a loved ones, they ask you if your God is good, why will he allow that accident to happen or cause that baby to die or this or that?

This is the devil at work. The devil will always try to destroy the reputation of our Lord Jesus before the world which he has consistently fail at.

We may not always understand everything that occurs in this world or know why they occur. But this we do know God acts necessarily, not freely, governing His actions by His own wisdom, as he saw most conducing to the wise ends of His glory.

We shouldn't let our faith down because of the mockery of the people. Mary was strong, even though Lazarus was dead, she still believe strongly in Jesus.

When others mock us at laugh scornfully at us when we go through trials yet serving our God, we shouldn't be dismayed or discouraged. We should be strong and hold on to the promises of God even when the outlook is bleak. We should be strong and not allow the criticism of other to weigh us down.

Our God is strong and mighty. He is our ever help in times of troubles, when trouble blows, God sees and knows about it just the same Jesus knew about Lazarus death.

There is hope for the righteous, there is hope for you. Faint not, despair nor. Jesus is our comforter, no matter what comes our way, we shouldn't and we won't be afraid.

My prayer for you is this: The Lord shall comfort you on every side in Jesus Name.

Good Morning and do have a glorious friday.

Verse 1 I want to  to live lord in the world of your Glory I want to live lord in the place where you are To stay away from the pressures & cares of this life. To stay away Lord from the ways of the world. (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to stay oh Lord in your resting place Lead me away from things that keep me from you Separate me from the things Lord that hinders me. (3*) Verse 2 Oh Lord my heart is longing for your precious presence To receive Lord the light of your countenance So I can escape the darkness that covers the Earth So I can escape Lord the path of error (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me

Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science. Many at times we believers are like that; We live in sin , we disobey God and when we need something, we want to perform miracles, do signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus which we really belittle or don't value.  Someone once said during a plane turbulence, he saw unbelievers even shouting the name of Jesus. No wonder some folks suffered embarrassment like the sons of Sceva.  When
