Evolution And Creation

In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth - Genesis 1:1

Religion and Science has always been at conflict with each other, one of the areas of conflicts is Evolution and Creation. According to Charles Darwin, Evolution is
the process by which different kinds of living organisms are thought to have developed and diversified from earlier forms during the history of the earth.

Even though Evolution remains unproven, the scientist will also ask a Christian to prove its own creation theory.

I remember my Biology teacher teaching us in class about Evolution. He was so keen about the subject. But as a Christian, I have no doubt about who created the world. In the beginning, God created the heaven and earth. So how did I know it is God that created the earth? The Bible tells me so. How do I prove the Bible to be true in everything it says? science works only with evidence, something they can see feel measure determine and analyze.

This is where the conflict start from. As a Christian, one of my qualities is my Faith. Science can't measure or determine my faith. Where science stops, spirituality starts. Where science stops, faith is activated.

Virtually Every scientist believes (or wants to believe) the theory of Evolution. Virtually Every Christian knows and Believe the story of creation as ochestrested by God.

I am a Christian, I love science and I believe in science. I also believe there far more things that science can't understand because where science stops is where spirituality starts.

Faith is the substance of things hope for, evidence of things not seen. Folks, that is way bigger than science or any scientist could handle.

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me...

The lyrics for the song goes thus: "We're connected to this world through our senses By what's tangible and easy to comprehend  There are days when it seems We're going nowhere fast Trust your faith to show you the truth Give a listen to what faith says to you:  "Our status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days. Our status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days.  My status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days  Better days are in You, Jesus... My better life is in You, Jesus... Life's changing is in You, Jesus... My success is in You, Jesus... All I have to do is to look to You... Better days are with You... My f...

If Men Were God

He sends  rain  on the just and on the unjust. - Matthew 5:44 It's raining as I type this post and I remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:45 where he talks about  God sending the rain on both the just and unjust. God won't because are a sinner or a bad personal withdraw the rain from Falling on your side. One special trait we are to emulate from God is that we should not discriminate. If men were God, the rain will be raining only on the good, the sun will be shinning only on the perfect. We humans readily discriminate, we isolate those we feel are not perfect or good. We see those who have sinned as been candidates of hell as if we haven't sinned before. One major problem of our society is discrimination. Even in church, we discriminate, we see that prostitute and we readily condemned her. We readily forget that as children of God, we don't just do good to good people, we are to do good to everybody. It doesn't matter how bad a person might be, you ...
